How to import past customers (CSV)
Bring your existing customer list into the app in one go.
If you already have a list of past customers, you do not have to type them in one by one. You can import the whole lot from a spreadsheet in one go. This is the quickest way to get your existing customers into the app so you can start asking them for reviews.
A quick tip before you start: the cleaner your spreadsheet, the smoother the import. One column for name, one for mobile, one for email. If you get stuck at any point, contact support and we will happily run the import for you.
Follow these steps:

1Get your customer list into a spreadsheet with a column each for name, mobile and email. Save it as a CSV file.

2Open the BuildMyService App on desktop and go to Contacts.

3Click Import Contacts and choose your CSV file.

4Match each column in your file to the right field (name to Name, mobile to Phone, and so on).

5Confirm the import. Your past customers are now in your database, ready for review requests and follow-ups.
