How to set your business hours and availability

Set the hours you take bookings so your calendar only offers times that suit you.

Your availability controls when customers can book you through your calendar, so it is worth setting it to match how you really work. This keeps your diary realistic and stops bookings landing on your day off. The hours you set here control your booking calendar. The opening hours shown on your website and on your Google Business Profile are looked after by us, so if those need changing, just ask through the Contact support button and we will update them for you. Here is how to set your availability.

Follow these steps:

  1. 1Log in to the BuildMyService App on a computer, where the settings are easiest to manage.

  2. 2Open Settings, then go to your Calendar settings.

  3. 3Set your available hours for each day, for example Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Leave a day blank to mark it as off.

  4. 4Add any breaks or block out holidays so no one can book you when you are away.

  5. 5Save. Your booking calendar now only offers customers the times you are actually free.
