About your AI Chat Assistant
The chat bubble on your website that talks to visitors and turns them into quote requests.
The AI Chat Assistant is a Growth and Premium feature. If you are on Starter it is not part of your plan, so the chat bubble described below will not be on your site. It is one of the things you get if you upgrade to Growth. Everything else (your SmartSite, ReviewLoop, your inbox and Missed Call Text Back) works exactly the same on every plan.
What it is
It is the chat bubble that sits in the corner of your website. A visitor clicks it, and instead of a form they get a real conversation. The assistant answers common questions about your services, your area and how you work, around the clock, in your business’s tone of voice. We train it on your services and your FAQs during your build, so it knows what you do.
What it does for you
Most people who land on your website are not ready to fill in a form straight away. They have a question first: do you cover their area, do you do that particular job, how soon could you come out. The AI Chat Assistant answers that question on the spot, day or night, so the visitor does not click off to a competitor while they wait.
Once the visitor is warmed up and the assistant has the details it needs, it points them to your quote form. That is the important part to understand.
It qualifies, it does not book
For most trades, the AI Chat Assistant does not book the job straight into your calendar. It qualifies the visitor (works out what they need and whether they are a genuine enquiry) and then directs them to your quote form. Once they submit that form, your normal speed-to-lead flow takes over: you get the lead in your inbox and the customer gets an instant text back.
So the chat does the talking, the quote form does the capturing, and the lead lands with you the same way every other enquiry does. Booking a job directly into your calendar is a Premium feature, not part of the Growth chat assistant.
What runs automatically and what you do
The assistant runs automatically. It is on your site 24 hours a day, it handles the conversation, and it sends qualified visitors to your quote form without you lifting a finger.
What you do is the same as with any other lead: when the enquiry lands in your BuildMyService App inbox, you read it and reply. The chat has already done the warming up for you.
Changing what it says
We set the assistant up and train it on your services during your build. If you want it to handle a new question, mention a new service, or change its tone, just contact support and we will update it for you. You do not edit it yourself.
